Berlin Marathon 2027: How to Get a Guaranteed Entry Without the Ballot

6. November 2026  |  2 Min. read

The Generali Berlin Marathon is one of the six World Marathon Majors — and demand outstrips supply every single year. If you rely on the official ballot, you need luck. For the race on 26 September 2027 there is a route that does not depend on the draw at all: a travel package with a guaranteed entry.

How the guaranteed entry works

As a tour operator, S-E-T-T combines official race entry allocations with hotel rooms in Berlin. You book a package of accommodation plus marathon entry — your bib is secured, whatever happens in the ballot. The packages:

A EUR 300 deposit secures the booking (50% refundable), payable online by card or by bank transfer. Prices are in euros — convenient for runners from the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada and beyond.

Why booking early makes sense

Tour operator allocations are limited. Demand jumps the moment ballot results go out — if you start searching then, you are competing with every other rejected runner for the last packages. Booking before the ballot costs nothing extra and removes the uncertainty.

Frequently asked questions

Is the entry really guaranteed? Yes. The race entry is part of the package and independent of the ballot. Your booking becomes effective upon receipt of payment.

What if I win a ballot place after booking? The deposit is 50% refundable — the conditions are shown transparently during booking.

Can I bring a non-running companion? Yes, double rooms with an accompanying person are available in all hotel packages.
