General Terms and Conditions of S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE
The contract between the client and S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE comes into force on confirmation of the cooperation agreement / contract. The general terms and conditions govern the cooperation with S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE.
If one of these general terms and conditions should become ineffective or unworkable in whole or in part, or subsequently lose its legal effect, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions is not affected.
Even if event designs, ideas, the content of programmes and offers to the client are passed on with the offer, these remain the property of S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE. The rights of use, exploitation and distribution require the written approval of S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE.
The client must also pay all additional expenditure and any special requirements in full. The total cost and gross invoice amount of all service providers is the basis for the calculation of charges.
We reserve the right to make adjustments in the case of exchange rate variations. Invoices become due for payment in accordance with the terms stated on the invoice or within 10 days.
The number of persons specified on the date of signature of the contract is binding for planning and execution purposes. If the agreed number of participants is not achieved, S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE may charge the originally agreed number of participants.
The binding basis for the invoice is the number of participants as defined in the cancellation conditions for each reservation. In the case of amendments, changes and cancellation of services (e.g. supplier price increases, exchange rate variations), S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE reserves the right to adjust prices accordingly.
The client bears the full consequences of blameless impossibility of performance and happenstance. S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE expressly reserves the right to make changes to services, prices and programmes if unforeseen circumstances arise.
As a gesture of goodwill, we will make every effort to provide an equivalent replacement service; however we can give no guarantee of a replacement offer. Additional costs due to changes to services caused by force majeure, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics or other unforeseeable events shall be borne by the client.
S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE acts as an intermediary between the client and third-party service providers (hotels, venues, transport companies, ticket suppliers, etc.). S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE shall not be liable for the services of third-party providers.
Liability is limited to the amount of the commission earned by S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE on the respective transaction. Claims for consequential damages, loss of profit, or immaterial damages are excluded.
Prepayments become due in accordance with our terms and conditions following signature of the cooperation agreement. In the case of recurring services, the beginning of the overall service is definitive.
Unless otherwise agreed, the following terms apply:
The customer receives a final invoice after the event for the remaining payment of 10% or the total costs less prepayments. The prepayment terms of service providers are applicable if they demand higher prepayments or earlier payment dates.
In case of cancellation after the closure of the contract, costs incurred up to the cancellation date (deposits for service providers, expenditure in accordance with our offers, invoices, costs for planning and any other costs) are payable immediately by the client.
Unless otherwise stated in the offer, the following cancellation fees apply:
If third-party service providers and/or organizers have their own cancellation conditions, these shall apply in addition.
We accept no credit, prepayment, or cancellation risk in respect of advance or retrospective accounts from third-party service providers. These are invoiced on to the client. We accept no liability for the financial solvency of third-party service providers.
The client may nominate a replacement person to take their place. This replacement person then takes over the existing contract in full. If entry tickets or participation fees become invalid for any reason (cancellation, change of events), this does not affect the validity of the remaining booking and no refund shall be issued for the ticket portion.
In the event of cancellation by force majeure, S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE is released from all claims regarding the provision of services. In force majeure situations, S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE will try to recover any payments already made to service providers, but cannot guarantee any refunds.
All marathon/running event entry tickets within the package are non-refundable once purchased. There will be no refunds processed for any cancellation requests, as per guidelines set forth by the event organizer.
Hotel Cancellation: Where a hotel room is included within the marathon package, the hotel reservation cannot be canceled under any condition. The hotel component of the package is bound to the event registration and follows the same non-refundable policy.
Replacement of Participants: If you are unable to attend the event, you may nominate a replacement participant. You must notify S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE at least 14 days prior to the event date.
Transfer Fee: Transferring your booking to a new participant incurs a fee equivalent to 10–20% of the original booking amount for administrative and processing costs.
Bookings made through the S-E-T-T Ticket Shop or S-E-T-T Hub platform are subject to the following additional terms:
Travel agencies and tour operators accessing S-E-T-T services through S-E-T-T Hub are subject to these additional terms:
S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The place of jurisdiction is Fujairah, UAE. For clients domiciled in the European Union, the courts of the client's domicile may also have jurisdiction in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection regulations.
Should individual provisions of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Invalid provisions shall be replaced by valid provisions that come as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
S-E-T-T Worldwide Reservation FZE reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes shall be communicated to existing partners via email or through the S-E-T-T Hub platform.
